Established on 25th September, 2006 by renowned Film Actor Mr. Suriya, Agaram aims to provide quality education to the under-privileged and deserving students. We strive to bridge the gap between these deserving candidates and quality education by overcoming the barriers in acquiring it. With the firm belief that the educated mind can not only eliminate social evils but also aid in the socio-economic upbringing of the society, we work towards providing appropriate learning opportunities to the rural populace who do not otherwise have 
access to quality education.

I am reminded of Vladimir Lenin here when he came to power he said the first thing he would reform is education second is education and third is education. We are still at the grassroots its high time we realize that education is no more a want but a basic necessity in life apart from food, shelter and clothing. It is an answer to overcome eco imbalance of not only an individual, but of the family and ultimately the society Help extended to an individual in any other form only benefits that individual but when you impart education you are providing hope to the whole family which in turn benefits the society.

ACTOR SURYA

PROFILE

actor Saravanan “Surya” Sivakumar" was born on July 23, 1975 to famous tamil actor Sivakumar. He is the eldest of three children, his younger brother the actor Karthik Sivakumar and a younger sister named Brindha Sivakumar.

Surya studied at St. Bede’s School in Chennai and graduated from Loyola College with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and worked for a few years in the garment industry, before foraying into the film industry. Actor Surya and Actor  Vijay are classmates in college.

Actor started his film carrier in Nerrukku Ner (1997) with Actor Vijay. Later he starred in Friends and Nandha, for which he received a Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actor.  Nandha movie turned out be a milestone movie in his carrier since it brought out Surya’s acting talents. Surya’s next venture was with Vikraman in the movie Unnai Ninaithu which was followed by Mounam Pesiyadhe.

Kaaka Kaaka, a movie about the life of a police officer was the turning point of his carrier. The movie become a big Box Office hit and in that movie he paired up with Jyothika. Pithamagan, in which Surya was played a happy-go-lucky village guy in a comedic role. In the movie Perazhagan, Surya acted in two roles, one as a boxer and the other as a handicapped but a confident phone booth keeper for which he received a Filmfare Award for Best Actor. His role in Aayitha Ezhuthu was George Reddy, a student leader in Hyderabad during 80′s.

In 2005, Surya appeared in Aaru and Ghajini and set up a production company called Studio Green which distributed the movie in the Chennai district. Surya played a short term memory loss patient. Surya’s 2006 release was Sillunu Oru Kaadhal and he acted with his real-life partner Jyothika in the film. In 2007, Surya’s solitary release was Vel. He later appered in Vaaranam Aayiram, another venture with Gautham Menon, released on November 14, 2008, which too went to became an big Box Office Hit.

Surya’s latest movie is Ayan directed by K. V. Anand, and it was released on April 3rd and the movie went on to become one of the biggest hits Kollywood movies of 2009. Following Ayan, Surya is doing Aadhavan with directer K. S. Ravikumar,  and followed by Singam with director Hari. Surya will also be acting in a film titled Mugamoodi, which is expected to be a superhero film.

Actor Surya fell in love with actress Jyothika and they got married on September 11, 2006. In 2007, the couple had a cute daughter named Diya.

Surya to Host Kaun Banega Crorepati Tamil on Vijay TV

Surya is all set to host the Tamil version of popular reality show Kaun Banega Crorepati. Recently after the promos of Kaun Banega Crorepati Tamil on Vijay TV there was a huge expectation among peoples in all over Tamil Nadu that who will host the popular show Tamil Version.

Amidst huge expectation it is Surya who is going to fill in the shoes of Amitabh Bachchan.
